The vision of Prodema Medical is to contribute to the acceleration of drug development for the benefit of the community and to make the customer's project more efficient, more effective and cost saving by devoted engagement and the application of individualized project designs. Project Management includes global project management service which means leading projects as project manager (i.e. preclinical drug research projects) and Contract Research Organization Services (CRO), (i.e. in the provision of services that clinical trials require). The company performs site coordination, data collection, data management and data evaluation in Phase I/II trials). Prodema's IT services include IT project management, research into targeted IT solutions, software development, the development and provision of medical image analysis- and data management services, data warehousing (collection, storage and evaluation of clinical data from drug studies), data modelling, and the organisation and realisation of courses. As part of its CRO operations, Prodema operates as a core laboratory for the collection, storage, processing and analysis of clinical and imaging data in multi-centre imaging studies. The company relies on a large international network of scientific experts, and maintains active collaboration with renowned research institutes such as the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden; King’s College London, UK; and the University of Aalborg, Denmark. ![]() Prodema is especially interested in supporting medical imaging data as biomarkers in clinical studies. Prodema has developed, maintains and supports its own clicinal data aquisition, management and quality control annotation suite that has been deployed at a number of institutes and is used by various projects. The company is in the process of launching a platform for automated image analysis, offering the service to all researchers worldwide. The platform will enable researchers to select from trusted services to evaluate their own images using the most sophisticated image processing algorithms available. Prodema also aims to develop means to simulate projects and health models using in silico methods and integrate the model results in project planning. Prodema and its staff has an extensive record of participating and delivering in successful international collaborations, including EU FP projects. Currently, Prodema is partner to the ongoing EU FP7 project "neuGrid" and the extension of the EU FP6 project "InnoMed/AddNeuroMed". ![]() |
